Last Friday night at Sandycove, a large group gathered to remember our dear friend Páraic Casey and celebrate his life and the life we shared with him. This will be an annual event at Sandycove on summer solstice.

Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate with us, but it didn’t deter many of Páraic’s family and friends, some of whom had traveled quite a distance to be with us. Some of us swam, some chatted and all ate yummy food brought by Clodagh and Liz!

To everyone who shared Páraic’s celebratory night with us, thank you. Whether you stood in the rain for a few hours, popped in for a visit, messaged us or were with us in spirit, thank you most sincerely.

Huge thanks too to Clodagh and Liz who fed the hungry masses. And thanks to all who brought goodies for the ‘dessert trolley’, it was heaving!
