The Boeg-Walsh Trophy for a Swimmer with Physical Disabilities is awarded annually. This named after Cork swimmer Julian Boeg (swimmer with an amputated leg) and Colm Walsh (swimmer with blood clotting issues and damaged legs). The award recognizes the swimmer who hits the open water regularly and inspires all other swimmers
