The final swim of the 2012 Munster open water swimming calendar, from Sherkin Island to Baltimore, took place on Sunday, October 14th. 50 swimmers took part in the swim, organised by Steven Black. The sun was out, providing some bit of heat on the otherwise-chilly day (it is October in Ireland after all!).
As always, huge thanks go to the volunteers: boatsmen, kayakers and timekeepers. We very much appreciate all that our volunteers do at all of our swims and we know that without you, the swims would not be able to happen. Thank you 🙂
