After his speedy Catalina swim only a few days ago, congratulations are again due to Ned Denison, who was inducted into the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame yesterday as an Honour Administrator. This is a really big deal-he was one of only eight people being inducted this year, and there have only been around 220 honourees altogether since the first people were inducted in 1963. I think that we can all agree that it is very well deserved. Thank you Ned for doing so much to put Sandycove on the open water swimming world map!

Also inducted was the Irish Long Distance Swimming Association, so well done to everyone involved there too.
