The Union Hall to Glandore swim is open for registration :

Details:

Friday May 25th – Union Hall to Glandore 1.1 km swim @ 7 pm sharp. Swim in 1.1 km long. Water temp will be approx 12 degC.

Request to those signing up, if you cannot cover this distance in 40 mins please do not enter this swim. If you do, you will be pulled from the water after 40 mins. This is for your own safety. Also you are asked to have at least done 30 mins in the sea before the swim THIS year. You do not want this event to be your first swim in the open water this year!!

Online registration will be open from May and close 3 days before the swim unless the max number of swimmers has been reached. There will be no registration on the day.

Sign in is at Union Hall pier between 5:00-6.30pm, safety talk at 6:45pm and start at 7pm sharp Cost is €15 a head, includes a meal in the Glandore Inn afterwards.

This years proceeds will go towards the families of those who died in the tragedy of Tit Bonhomme last Jan.
