There is just no stopping this incredible, inspirational man from West Cork!
Following a grueling Cook Strait swim just over a week ago, Stephen Redmond took on the challenge of swimming the Moloka’i Channel from Moloka’i to O’ahu in the early hours of Sunday morning – 4 am GMT.
Just under 23 hrs later, after covering 44 miles due to tidal pull, he finished yet another epic swim. This is number 6 of the 7 Great Ocean Swims.
Steve will be on the John Murray show on RTE Radio 1 this morning at around 9am talking about last night’s swim and the Oceans Seven Challenge.
There is a very good report of the swim on Steve Munatones’ site:

Stephen just has one more swim to do to be the first person to swim the Oceans Seven. He hopes to complete the Tsugaru Channel in June, so stay tuned…this is history in the making!
