Congratulations to Ned Denison and Jen Hurley for competing the Rottnest Channel Swim today. The swim takes place in February each year in Perth, Australia. It is a 19.7km swim from Cottesloe Beach out to Rottnest Island.
Ned completed the swim in 5hours and 31minutes and Jen, who was completing the swim for her fourth time, achieved a personal best time of 6hours and 50minutes. There were three other Irish swimmers who also completed the swim-Owen Kiely, Andrea Murphy and Ronan McGlue. Congratulations to all of you, ye did us proud!
