Yesterday marked the first double lap of the year, with Finbarr Hedderman and Eoin O’Riordan deciding that one lap wasn’t enough for them! Congratulations guys 🙂
It was a beautiful day for a swim, with the air temperature at about 11degC and the water between 9 and 10 (depending on whose watch you looked at!). We had a big gang down which was great, guess all those New Year’s Resolutions are kicking in! Well done to everyone who did their first lap of the year yesterday too.
Hopefully we’ll have many more beautiful swim days in 2012!

How do we find out when people are meeting up for a swim?
Sorry Kev, I just saw this comment. The schedule is available on the Caendar page: https://sandycoveswimmers.com/calendar/. There are often people meeting at the suggested times but it’s not guaranteed.
