Wow, what a glorious November day for a swim! We had 10 brave souls, air temp was a mild 14 degrees and water a tropical 11 degrees-better than July! Alas the dolphins had already departed though-so no real competition for Owen after all…

Some swam to the island and back, some around the island and back, and 3 around and to the west slipway and back. Micheal Hurley, Eileen and Marion, and Jane Keating all provided buns, biscuits and tea, whilst I experimented with the ‘Harris Shower’…

Swimmers were:

Una Wycherley, Marion Nealon, Eilenn O’Sullivan, Micheal Hurley, Steve Redmond, Noel Browne, Owen O’Keefe, Sally Kelly, Sekeeta Crowley and Steven Black.
