Yep, it was freezing cold, road were icey – about 2 degrees air temp if even that. Nonetheless, there were 2 stalwarts determined to circumnavigate the island…. despite having a rather interesting car journey there.

Gabor and Eoin took off into the sunshine, not a care in the world, once you’re in the water, perhaps safer than being in a car this day…

27 minutes later, 4.8 degree C water, Gabor arrived back, Eoin followed a minute or 2 later. Well done lads … I take my hat off to ye, but not my coat, gloves ..it was freezing!
